Join us for PLC's Summer Picnic Open House!
SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, 2026 | 12 PM - 2 PM
PLC is hosting a summer open house picnic on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Noon. All are invited - PLC members and all in the community! Come enjoy food, games, a bounce house, and if you're visiting, meet our members and learn what PLC is all about! We will be grilling hot dogs, and if you would like to bring a potluck dish to share, please contact the church office, or just bring something with you!

Gloria Ann Book Club
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5, 2026 at 1 PM and 6:30 PM
This Book Club was started again in November after 5 years of retirement. We have a solid 5 people that read the book every 6 weeks or so and come together to discuss and fellowship. Please consider being a part of the passion of reading. We choose a different genre each month. Each person is responsible for getting their own copy of the book.
Our next Book Club is Wednesday, August 5 at 1 pm and 6:30 pm. The book will be “How to Seal Your Own Fate” by Kristen Perrin.

Youth Group Courtyard Cleanup & Outdoor Movie Night
FRIDAY, AUGUST 7, 2026 | 5 PM
All PLC Youth (4th grade through high school) are invited to join us on Friday evening (August 7, 2026) to spruce up the courtyard and prep for the Community Picnic the next day. See Stephanie Antal for details.

Community GiveBack FREE Meal
THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2026 FROM 5-6:30 PM
Our next meal open to the community is Thursday August 20th from 5-6:30 p.m.
Please consider being a part of this ministry. You can volunteer to “host” or be present and serve and talk with our guests while eating dinner. Thank you to the Hill Family for hosting the meals on 7/30 and 8/20.

Blessings of the Backpacks

Pastor Jay will give a special blessing at the 9 a.m. Worship Service on Sunday, August 23, to the students (and any teachers) who will be starting back to school for the upcoming school year. Bring your backpack if you'd like.

Please consider donating your rummage!
Items can start coming in NOW. Please know that it CANNOT be left in the Brick Lobby. They MUST be taken to the classroom on the right by the kitchen.
Please remember we only accept clean and unbroken items.
The proceeds this year will go towards the security cameras and a Youth outing!!!

Rally Day
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2026 | 12 PM
We will kick off our return to Youth Education classes on Sunday, September 13 after Worship. We will hold a brief lesson, play some games, enjoy PLC's bounce house and have a light lunch.
Youth ages pre-school through middle school are invited to join us! High Schoolers are encouraged to come and join the fun and lend a helping hand to our younger Youth. Friends are always welcome to join in Youth Group fun as well.
