Advent Dinners​

Please join us for Wednesday Advent dinners to be held this year on December 3, 10, and 17, 2025 served from 6-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with the Advent devotional directly following. A signup sheet is in the narthex for anyone having it upon their heart to help.

Youth Baking Party +

Come join us for a Christmas cookie baking party on Friday night! We will be making cookies to sell at a bake sale after the 12/7 Worship Service. While cookies are baking, we will also be finishing up our Christmas ornament crafts for the shut-ins that were started in our November Youth Education class. All ages youth are invited to attend the Baking Party.
After the Baking Party, the middle school and high school-aged youth will be having an overnight church lock-in ("Night Owls"). Join us for some Youth Group fun including movies, snacks and teaming up for a fun, church-wide, scavenger hunt!

Meet us at the Valley View Village Church in Valley View, Ohio, at 7:30 p.m. to walk through an outdoor live Nativity re-enactment of the very first Christmas! On your journey to Bethlehem, you will meet Isaiah the prophet, Caesar Augustus, King Herod, the Magi, the shepherd and then proceed through a busy market where you will find Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus in a stable.
Dress warmly! The outdoor experience will take approximately 30 minutes. After the walk-through, we will gather inside to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies.
This event is free and open to the public. We are inviting all members to join us!

Youth Christmas Nativity Story Reading​

All youth are invited to join our annual Christmas Nativity Story Reading at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. Recent confirmands will read the Nativity Story (Luke 1–2), and younger children may dress in provided costumes such as Mary, Joseph, Shepherds, the Angel Gabriel, the Wise Men, or angels.

No speaking parts or rehearsals are required. Simply arrive at 9:30 a.m. in the Community Room to choose a costume and gather props. Parents are encouraged to assist with the costumes for any younger children.
The children will be lead down to the Narthex to wait until it is time for the reading. When it is time, they will process down the aisle and stand at the front of the Sanctuary near the altar during the reading.

Blue Christmas - Service of Night Prayer

A special "Blue Christmas - When Christmas isn't Merry" Worship Service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m.
For many of us, Christmas hurts. Come worship with us and let us heal together this holiday season.
