For November, we are collecting canned yams/sweet potatoes and canned soup for the Parma Hunger Center and deodorant for the Parma Hunger Center, Crossroads and Laura's Home.​​​​

November 2025 Update! The PLC Community Ministry just finished with their 4th quarter packing of Domestic Bags. 90 bags, with $850 worth of items were bagged and taken to the Journey of Safe Healing Home. Over 80% of the items in the bags were donations from outside organizations and YOU. Thank You!

From now until February 28, 2026, we will be collecting warm hats, gloves and mittens for the children and adults in need AND warm socks for the homeless. There will be collection boxes in the Brick Lobby, Narthex and outside the Fellowship Hall.
This year Parma Lutheran Church will be adopting 3-4 families in the hopes
of helping with their Christmas needs. We will receive the needs of these families in mid-November. Watch weekly bulletins for updates on their needs. We will have a "Wish List" board posted in the Narthex.

Received enough Zip Lock bags to help the Fellowship Committee and the Youth Program for quite a bit.

Received many donations of non-food items for the Hunger Center (i.e. bar soap, razors, paper towels, dish and laundry detergent, tissues, Q-Tips and toothbrushes.)

In February our volunteers came together and packed 90 bags for the families at the Journey of Safe Healing home. We were blessed to have the Parma Police Department donate hundreds of items for this packing, but we have run out of items already. Women's deodorant is the item most needed at this time. Please consider donating women's deodorant throughout the month of March.​

We received 26 wash clothes, 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels, 3 bralettes, 3 packs of baby wipes and 4 packs of women's underwear.

This will benefit The City Mission of Cuyahoga County.

In March we received 34 jars of peanut butter that will benefit the Parma Hunger Center and
13 deodorants that will help the Community Ministry with their mission work. Thank you!

We received 162 rolls of toilet paper and 2 boxes of tissue that will benefit the Parma Hunger Center and the Providence House and 36 tubes of toothpaste that will help the Community Ministry with their mission work. Thank You!!!

Thank You for the donations towards the May Community Give Back. We received 360 postage stamps to benefit the Church Office and 5 packs of diapers to benefit the Parma Hunger Center.

We received 10 bottles of 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner and 1 deodorant to benefit the PLC Community Ministry and 11 packs of diapers to benefit the Parma Hunger Center. Thank You!!!

Thank You for the donations towards the July Community Give Back. We received 20 bottles of body wash to benefit the CLE City Mission and 59 cans of corn and 2 packs of diapers to benefit the Parma Hunger Center. Thank You!!!

Thank You for the donations towards the August Community Give Back. We received 23 pairs of reader glasses to benefit the CLE's Crossroads Men's Crisis Center and 5 packs of cups to benefit Parma Lutheran Church. Thank You!!! ​​

We received 19 bottles of lotion to help the homeless during the harsh NEO winters and 5 multipacks of snacks to benefit the local school districts with nourishment during the day between breakfast and/or lunch and dismissal. We also received two packages of diapers!!

We received 33 bottles of communion wine to help offset the cost from the church budget and 15 bags of cough drops for Laura's Home and the Men's Crisis Center.
